Preparing for the wedding celebration is indeed very laborious since it usually involves months of preparations. The couple not only has to prepare for the church ceremony and the wedding reception but they also have to plan other things such as wedding invitations and wedding souvenirs. In our place, it is a custom that guests be given small tokens as appreciation for attending the couple’s wedding. Typically, the souvenir items that couples choose are figurines that depict a married couple. When my brother was preparing for his wedding, he delegated to me the task of choosing what souvenir item will be given to the wedding guests. I wanted the couple to give something which is unique and can easily identify them as the givers of the item. Since I wanted something new, figurines were already out of the picture. While I was reading magazines, I saw a short article telling of cake pans that can be used as gifts to guests. The cake pans were given during a birthday celebration but the article however claims that the store makes cake pansthat can match the event that is being celebrated. Initially, giving this kind of thing as a wedding souvenir was kind of odd but then I remembered, we all wanted something which was not traditional. I contacted the store and asked if it was possible to make cake pans in the shape of wedding bells. I was not disappointed as the store confirmed that they already have made cake pans with this design. When I mentioned this idea to my brother and his future wife, they were both delighted and excited to see a sample of their wedding souvenir.
